Acrylic baths
Light, warm and versatile.
The most common bath material in the UK. Acrylic is light, warm to the touch and can be shaped into almost any design.

What it is
A sheet of acrylic formed into shape and reinforced underneath with layers of resin and fibreglass. Thicker, better-reinforced baths feel more solid.
Good for
Any floor
Light enough for almost any room, including upstairs.
Warmth
Feels warm as soon as you get in.
Choice
Every shape, from straight baths to freestanding designs.
What to weigh up
Flex
A thin or poorly supported bath can flex, which cracks the sealant.
Scratches
Softer than enamel; light scratches can usually be polished out.
Getting it right
Check the build
A thicker, well-reinforced bath feels more solid.
Support
A proper frame or feet stop it moving when filled.
