Fluted or reeded glass
Texture and privacy.
Glass with vertical ribs that blur the view. It adds privacy and texture, with a feel that suits Art Deco, Japandi and period rooms.

What it is
Toughened glass with a pattern of vertical ridges pressed into it. You see light and shapes through it, but not detail.
Good for
Privacy without darkness
Blurs the view but keeps the light.
Character
A design feature in its own right.
What to weigh up
Cleaning
The ribs hold more water and limescale than flat glass.
