Tiles
Materials and types.
Tiles do the heavy lifting in a bathroom: they protect the walls and floor and set the style. Here's every common type.
- Floors and wet areas
- Porcelain
- Walls
- Ceramic
- Natural
- Stone
- Handmade
- Zellige
The basics
Porcelain is denser and harder-wearing than ceramic, so it suits floors and wet areas. Natural stone is beautiful but needs sealing.
