Your room won't match one exactly. Use the closest as your guide, and start by measuring your room.

The five sizes

Very compact

About 1.2 × 1.8 m. Making space in a very compact bathroom.

Compact

About 1.6 × 2.2 m. Room for a bath.

Medium

About 2.0 × 2.5 m. Room to choose.

Spacious

About 2.5 × 3.0 m. A place for everything.

Large

About 3.0 × 4.0 m. Planning the space.

Very compact rooms

About 1.2 × 1.8 m: room for a shower, a basin and a toilet.

Compact rooms

About 1.6 × 2.2 m: room for a bath, usually along the longest wall.

Medium rooms

About 2.0 × 2.5 m: room for a shaped shower bath, a corner bath or a bigger shower.

Spacious rooms

About 2.5 × 3.0 m: room for a separate bath and shower, or a freestanding bath.

Large rooms

About 3.0 × 4.0 m: room for a freestanding bath and a separate shower together.
